The Uppsala University Doctoral Education Survey 2019

Uppsala University has about 2500 doctoral candidates (PhD students) in its nine faculties. The main representative bodies for doctoral candidates in Uppsala University are the Doctoral Board (Doktorandnämnden, or DN) and the Saco-S council representing our trade unions.

This survey is created by DN to collect information on the experiences and opinions of doctoral candidates within the University. It includes questions on your work environment, supervision, career, funding and other aspects of your doctoral training.

This survey is anonymous and will give DN an overview of the opinions and concerns of doctoral candidates. This information helps us identify areas of concern and work to improve the quality of doctoral education at Uppsala University. Results will be reported to the faculties' doctoral councils.

The survey takes approx. 10-15 minutes to complete. Your contribution is of great importance to us and we appreciate the time you take to fill in the survey.

You can still view the questions, but your responses will not be recorded.
